She didn’t really believe me when i told her that 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 was as likely to win as any other combination. In most minds, ‘random’ = ‘evenly distributed’.

“My” numbers (quotes because I’ve never actually played these or any other numbers) are 30, 31, 32, etc. for however many numbers are required. Mr. C. occasionally checks the winning numbers and tells me if 2 of my numbers showed up.

But then, I’m the kind of person when asked to pick a number from 1 to 10 likes to pick 1. It startles people, which tells you something about how the human mind works.
