So my MIL calls me this morning to ask about when her retirement check gets deposited. I ask why…she says she wants to make sure a check she wrote will clear (for $2,600). I said, “Who to?” She said it was some cremation service. I said, “You’re not fucking dead yet.” She said it was a pre-pay thing so we wouldn’t have to worry about it after she was gone. I went online to her account and put a stop-payment on the check, then called the company to tell them to leave her the fuck alone. The woman she spoke with said, “Well, she placed the order so I’ll have to check with her.” I said, “Family will handle that shit.” Then called my MIL before her and told her how to politely let the lady know she didn’t need their services.

I then yelped them…they suck. Sick fucking predators.
