The fissure that really got the wingnuts flouncing around here was Charles’s complete and utter disavowal of creationism. That brought out the crazies like you wouldn’t believe.

I was gone for large parts of the sweep of the banhammer, but knowing the crowd that was around when I joined, I’m not at all surprised.
