Kim-Trump summit to be held on Sentosa resort island in Singapore.

Apparently, they will stay in separate hotels and perhaps meet in a third. Kim wanted only hotels that were not US- and European-owned properties.

Sentosa is a small island not far from the central city, with beaches, amusement parks, and resort hotels. Quite a nice place. It has a monorail linking the various attractions.

A thought: Trump thinks he can negotiate South Korea’s terms in the same way westerners negotiated South American and Middle Eastern boundaries since the late 1800s. It’s probably not going to go very well for him when he tries to give up South Korea in order to broker a deal.
