Remember: NBC gave us Trump through their Apprentice TV show that glorified him, followed by their failure to release tapes that would have discredited him (Yes — some people claim those tapes don’t exist — but I wouldn’t believe anything network executives claim).

If Lederman wanted to retain credibility, his tweet should have included the phrase “without any evidence whatsoever and repeating a discredited slur”. Why supposed journalists repeatedly quote any Trump — or member of this administration — without clarifying that such statement is totally uncorroborated is a mystery. It should discredit them, at least until they apologize and sin no more.
