What happens ‘round here (Seattle) is the cops become reactive not proactive, just wait till something goes down. The other factor is certain community leaders will protest every arrest within their community as “racist” and the Chief and City Clowncil don’t back up the cops.

The result is reactive policing.

You’ve got to wonder about the intelligence and sanity of people who complain when the police try to remove criminals from their midst.
