Yep, I mean I don’t hate religion really but I hate how people use religion to act like it makes them better than other people. Even when I was more religious, I valued it because it was something that was personal to me. I didn’t use it to look down on other people.

At a young age my Mom imparted the wisdom to be wary around those that “wear their Christianity on their sleeve” as they usually are more about the outside then inside. It took some growing up to understand the outside/inside reference. For the most part though I’ve found the whole statement to generally be true.
