It’s not gonna happen. Not in my lifetime. Hell, I’m just happy I lived long enough to see a Black POTUS, because I truly never thought I would.

Actually, I don’t think “freakout” can even remotely accurately convey what the reaction would be. We’d have to make up a new term for it.

The wingnuts are predictable, so it should be easily possible for Obama and the Democrats to deliberately attempt to set off the wingularity. Telling the GOP the debt ceiling is irrelevant because of the 14th amendment, combined with a few juicy nominations (especially if SCOTUS is involved) ought to do it.

It might be what the country needs —- see the RW nuts fly the freak flag louder and prouder than they have ever done before.
