a) Offensive thing occurs (in this case Pepe the Frog hijacked by Nazis)
b) Someone attempts corrective measure
c) Corrective measure draws criticism and attacks from same offenders
d) Corrective measure should never have been tried.

therefore… .

e) No one should try corrective measures.
