Those “bikes will save us” stories also don’t account for people in wheelchairs. The vast majority of NYC’s subway system is completely inaccessible for those folks. So fix those trains and make them accessible, dammit. The Americans with Disabilities Act is over 25 years old. Get with the times, NYC.
