Beto is in…. okay. I get it.

Wait. Do I really get it? He lost his race for the Senate in Texas, and that somehow boosts him to presidential candidate for the Democratic party nomination? What makes him stand out from every other candidate already declared?

I really do think he’s a better fit as VP (demographic/regional) than as POTUS, but what does he have that other top tier candidates don’t have (a Y chomosome, melanin impaired?)
