The GOP is possibly the only party responsible enough to figure out a way to sure up Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security. The idea is old: Privatize. (or partial privatization) But every time the GOP comes out with a plan, the Democrats ridicule it and then the R’s run away with their tails between their legs. The R’s need to put up a fight. Win or lose - FIGHT. The problem with today’s GOP is that they don’t articulate and fight and they are distracted and stuck on social and religious issues. Most social and religious issues are private matters that do not belong in the political arena.

The D’s are in a position to drive this nation off an economic cliff, and while we all fly off, the R’s are yelling about abortion and teaching ID in science class.
