These connections to wackos and Birchers are going to bite the GOP in the ass, big time. I’m seeing all these people predicting big wins for the Republican Party next November — I think they’re going to have huge losses. We’re about to see a Democratic majority in government for the next 20 years, and at this point that will be a good thing, because the GOP has gone insane.

I don’t think it’s such a good thing for the world’s last superpower to have such a lop-sided political process. The GOP deserves to be out of power right now, but I hope this nightmare train wreck is over sooner rather than later, because this country needs vibrant and viable political choices from more than one side of the political spectrum.
