If you’re on a street, it isn’t impossible to flee - simply run in the opposite direction from where the alleged assailant came from. The incident didn’t occur on a dead end, cul de sac, or otherwise involve a group of people blocking avenues of exit. That makes the claim all the more dubious.
Zimmerman’s claim is that Trayvon was on top of him. Hence, impossible to flee.
What I’m talking about with precipitating events deals with the chain of events and conduct of the respective parties.
I asked for a reference from the law supporting the idea that precipitating events matter. Can you provide a reference from the SYG law that supports the idea that precipitating events matter?
It’s my belief that the true stupidity of this law is that it gives both people in many altercations the right to lethal self-defense.
