Obama is changing the welfare rules to give states more flexibility, the GOP is really angry because they’re totally opposed to states’ rights.

I am all for giving the states the ability to experiment with better solutions, however, unless the law actually allows for these waivers I am not comfortable with the executive branch making a decision to change things unilaterally. It sets a precedent for presidential power that I may not want future presidents to exercise.
