I’m sympathetic to people being sad that their kids/the next generation don’t like the same sports as them. Sport can be a great inter-generational bonding device, and to be told that your favorite pastime is boring/passe/whatever is not nice.

The whole moral decline/soccer is gay thing is something else though. That’s just pathetic.
