For me it was a full 180.

My overarching principle here: the EU must be as strong as circumstances allow.
So I was against the Scottish independence because in my opinion it was counterproductive to this goal.
With the UK’s madness and probable exit the strongest position for the EU is in accepting the former constituent states, salvaging what can be salvaged.
