Pedestrians need a helmet more often than cyclists.

Also, armor-plated vests like Jared’s in case of sniper fire.

(TBH, I do have a little cruiser and no helmet, but I do no serious riding. I’m more likely to walk downtown, wearing a hat that has neither tinfoil nor whatever it is they make bike helmets out of nowadays. 12 mins or so, hardly worth locking the bike.)
