Blue states pay more. Red states pay less. As designed by right wing.

The recent tax cut hurt anyone taking deductions. A lot of not upper middle class people take some but not all of their deductions in order to get a refund. The tax changes meant that for people who didn’t change their withholding were going to get less, or possibly owe, because the standard deduction changed. And that will affect red states.
