I think he belongs to a group called Sons of Confederate Veterans or something along those lines. Depending on who you talk to, they’re the KKK incarnate or a Dixie version of the Lions Club.

They used to be the Dixie version of the Lions Club… or more like the Dixie Version of the SCA. Their leadership has taken a turn for the creepy over the last few years.
