Tape a bottle or juice cap over it?

(Wouldn’t work with my cats. Tuxedo Cat *loves* playing with adhesive, so anything with tape on it draws her attention.)

Yeah, those would just look like toys and the cat in question loves “stickies” (any kind of adhesive), so tape is out.

Hmm… now that you mention it though, I have an old broken purple plastic ruler and some little Velcro squares & circles, so maybe those’ll work…
