As I said up above, press the issue. They say they’ll block any vote on the matter, then call their bluff. They say they won’t hold a vote, then demand clarification as to why. Don’t stop until you have them on record saying they feel that their own party’s presidential debate is important enough to publicly snub the president’s request to address a joint session.
