Point is, a) we don’t know, perhaps the seals were broken for years; b) a “warranty void if broken” seal is not the same as a “do not break or integrity of count is compromised”. The post makes it sound like broken seals are prima facie evidence of vote tampering, and as William says it’s at least as likely that it was regular maintenance with no malicious intent.

Edited to add: “difficult to dispute the machines were tampered with” is a very charged way of interpreting the evidence; someone replacing a gear is “tampering” but not altering the operation of the device.
