So the population of Saginaw, Michigan has declined by 50% since 1980 and the town went from a Democratic stronghold to being solidly GOP.
What does that tell us about the nature of those who stayed vs those who left?

My home town of Gary, Indiana also lost about a third of its population since I left.
I’m not sure but my grandparents home county went from being solidly Mondale to solidly Trump. TBH, I don’t get these people. They really think Trump is doing a great job, that he cares about them, and that the criticism is overblown. Shrug, frankly they’re seeing what they want to see out if Trump.
