re: #115 Wendell Zurkowitz ((slave to the waffle light))

reading and shaking my head about the Naked Nashville shooter:

“…after an FBI investigation, state and local officials in Illinois confiscated four weapons he owned and revoked his firearm license. Reinking volunteered to give up his guns, police said. But when the authorities arrived to confiscate the weapons, Reinking’s father was there and asked to keep the weapons, according to the Post. After he showed them his firearms license and assured them he would keep the weapons from his son, the police agreed to let him keep them. Later, the father acknowledged he returned the guns to his son. One of those guns was the AR-15 Reinking allegedly used in the shooting.”

High school kids should refuse to show up to class until the people responsible for this are taken to task.

The father should be arrested as an accomplice and charged with criminally negligent homicides and attempted murder.

But for his actions, the shooter would not have had the means to carry out this attack.

So much for the good guy with the gun.

He enabled this shooting by making guns available to a person who should never have had them. Law enforcement showed undue deference to the father and the son.

I also have to wonder if they would have taken the same tact if the family were black (discriminatory treatment by police is well documented).
