Anti-corporate populists are just as bad as conservatives. Every time I see a leftist use ‘corporatist’ as a slur it makes me realize the right would not have the power they do if they didn’t have the complicit left: the right loves corporations, the anti-corporate left hates them so much they won’t support a Dem unless the Dem wants to destroy them all. The results are the same.

The German AfD is often classified as “ultra-right” or “neo-fascist”, but in the end they are populists: their social and immigration policies are nationalist and conservative but their economic policies are all full of anti-corporate populism.

Nationalism and socialism…what do you call a party that would combine those two elements?
