Yep, this is why I am not part of any sort of “community” related to my lack of religion. I tried to be, but I would end up in tears after every encounter related to discussions of men and women and privledge. I love it when some guy tells me an assault like mine is all in my head, or that it’s not a “real” problem because it’s not that common or whatever the crap du jour was. Don’t even get me started on date rape and how those discussions went. I have enough battles to fight, fuck that noise.
