I know others have already commented on this idiocy, but do any of these nudniks ever consider that Fort Hood is a military installation, and by definition is NOT a gun-free zone? It’s a gun-restricted zone, for very good reasons. If only the 101st Chairborne Division would take time to ponder those reasons.

Remember that, to wingnut’s, the answers to all life’s problems are more guns. Even if it becomes clear that the shooter in this case was a fellow suffering from mental health issues, they think he should have been armed by virtue of being a soldier. Most people might question the logic of having soldiers suffering from PTSD walking around armed, but to a wingnut the biggest tragedy is that somebody might question a soldier’s trustworthiness with a gun.
