Gin is such a fascinating and complex liquor. I know some people hate it but I adore it. My favorites (there are two, one for complex notes and one that is pure juniper) come from Vancouver, BC, and Ridgeway, CO, respectively.
We may be planning a trip to Vancouver so I can stock up because that one is not sold stateside yet.
Gin is sort of “new” to me; it wasn’t part of the drinking culture I was around—rum in India, whiskey everywhere else—so I’m having a great time discovering it.
Complexity is exactly what I like about it—you can slowly sip and all the different flavors effervesce such that you’re still tasting things a several breaths later.
