My god, people are willfully stupid when they need to stay willfully stupid to keep believing the things they need to believe.

I’m having an utterly stupid FB argument with a one-time colleague who is still absolutely convinced Kavanaugh’s mother ruled against the Blasey family in the foreclosure proceeding 30 years ago.

I posted the link to the atcual court documents showing that Kavanaugh dismissed the foreclosure proceeding with prejudice.

“That’s not what the talk radio hosts I listen to are telling me.”

She then went on to post a Fox News link titled - I shit you not - “Brett Kavanaugh’s mother is judge who dismissed a foreclosure action against accuser Ford’s parents,” which contains an accurate link to the court paperwork showing that the foreclosure was dismissed. And still she doesn’t see any contradiction with what she posted.

My head hurts.
