I for one thought it was telling that Bernie won Washington when it was a caucus but lost when they did a primary. The caucus counted. I find caucuses undemocratic and I find it especially funny that the Bros bitch about closed primaries but are fine with caucuses. I prefer open primaries for all their problems over caucuses that said.

Of course I misspoke when I said Washington used to be the only state with open “primaries”. At that time all we had were caucuses. What I meant was you didn’t have to register as a member of any party. I’ve been questioned on that, and can’t swear to it (WA being the only state like that, I mean), but my geology teacher registered a bunch of us for the first time when the voting age went down and he was a state representative, so you’d think he’d know what he was talking about.
