So, the Repug vice-lords have well and truly disowned Maddy if they think he should not be allowed to boff staffers or run some side grift. How much less Republican could you get? At this point, he isn’t just a lame duck, he is a dead duck as far as the Repugs are concerned. This raises a bizarre, but not impossible scenario: What if Maddy declares that he wants to join the Democrats? Stranger things have happened. If he can come up with some good dirt on Russian kompromat and GOP coke orgies, I would favor taking him. We could treat him like some kind of public rehab case, a wayward youth rescued from the dastardly clutches of the GOP.

I’d treat him like a Russian spy.

Pump him dry of info and then give him back to the GOP.

But I’m evil that way.
