I owned a retail store for 20 years, and I had the right to refuse service to anyone, of any race, gender or sexual orientation and did on occasion. I was not allowed to do that based on just the above. Asshole customers come in all flavors.

I have a friend whose a diamond cutter and jewelry maker that has a sign above the cash drawer in 6” letters that reads:

“The price of labor is directly affected by the attitude of the customer at the time of purchase”

I’ve always loved doing business with that guy…..
