Well, he’s probably burning the money knowing that when he loses, he’ll have nothing left for Gawker to claim (he thinks). Gawker could, however, attach liens to property, garnish wages, etc.

The potential is there for Chucky to have the legal equivalent of a permanent colonoscopy when all is said and done.
