Somebody pointed out that if you decide that insurance can’t be denied because of preexisting conditions, the rest of the ACA largely follows automatically. Assuming for a moment that they DON’T just repeal the thing and leave everyone out in the cold, anything they do ends up being pretty much the same. That’s why they’ve never come up with a replacement - because unless you’re going to go back to what we had, or forward to Single Payer, you pretty much end up with the same thing.

The ACA is the Republican health care plan of the 90s. The 21st century GOP health care plan is for the poor to die. Very simple.
