Count me in as not getting the big deal here. I support the idea of common sense gun laws - I generally argue along the lines of things like registration, certified annual training in your firearm(s) of choice, more strict liability and criminal penalties for damage caused by your firearms(s) and reasonable limits on magazine capacity and the ownership of more powerful weapons. What I don’t understand is the seeming focus on silencers. It seems like some sort of pit trap designed to catch clueless liberal pundits.
