I know where you are coming from. I don’t do it so much anymore, but when I was working insane hours a few years back to relax I would take one of my VWs (had two at the time) out for a run on the great triple digit state routes that run through Ohio’s hilly Appalachia country. Nice thing about Ohio is the hills are not too big so no switchback type turns. It is up and down, left and right, some places nothing but turn after turn with very little straightaway. I know just about every Ohio roller coaster road. My favorites are around the Hocking Hills area and around Coshocton Ohio. Give me those rolling turns. I love it.

I have the great big brown boat in the garage, which is completely the opposite experience. Doesn’t matter if the hills are rolling or the turns are sweeping - I’m driving a 5000 lb couch down the freeway. You don’t feel a damn thing behind the wheel of that car.
