EVERY country that is part of NATO contributes its proper share to NATO’s costs, no one is in arrears.

As for contributing a % of GDP to their own defense., well, there’s plenty off room for argument: On the one hand, Iceland has no standing army and will never ever meet that requirement; OTOH. France has 4 nuclear subs (replacing their previous 10) with six MS1 missiles each carrying six to ten independently targetable TN 75 thermonuclear warheads. So who the f*ck needs the orange turd’s protection racket?

This of course is correct but misses the point. Imo, we should not even admit the President has a proper motive in mind for the changes he demands. It is just a facet of the destabilization play by Russia as espoused by our *cough* President. It’s all fruit of a lethally poisoned tree.
