Exactly. My parents were German and Irish, but the Irish were Europe’s mercenaries for centuries and many of the Spanish Armada’s ships foundered off the Irish west coast as they tried to get back to Spain. Many of the rescued sailors liked the place (good Catholic country and all). I wouldn’t be at all surprised if I had a drop or two of Moorish blood in my veins.

And really, who the hell cares about this except for creepy fanatics?
