IMO this was likely done by a Nazi-type that happened to be in charge of the stage design for this, and was not intended from the start by CPAC leadership as support for Nazis.

However it started, it has ended as everyone expected it would, with CPAC leadership incapable of removing the symbol because they are Nazis and/or because they don’t want to piss off the Nazis in their horrid movement.

So, assuming it was an isolated actor that started this mess, mission accomplished for that jackass.

No one sneaked in during lunch break and improvised the most important bit of infrastructure for the whole clownshow. That construction has a lot of fingerprints up and down the foodchain.
