You know my stance on Jesus’s actual teachings vs. what the Church, as a collective, has taught and done for the last 2000+ years. I don’t think we need to re-hash that argument here; we both know where each other stands.

There’s such a vast difference between what Christ taught and believed and what his followers think and believe. My husband’s family is religious (he and I are both atheists) and his family are kind, solid humans. Many Christians of today are not. I will never attack someone for their beliefs but I would be lying if I didn’t say how much I hate people who have taken good words, thoughts and deeds and turned them into something completely unrecognizable.

As for Anymouse, after what he experienced in real life, I would be hard pressed to not hate everyone. He lives a more Christ like life than most supposed Christians. That said, Anymouse, I love you and think the world of you, but bashing good people’s (the people here) beliefs isn’t helpful in any way.
