You ever hear of Young Americans for Freedom? I think that’s where I first heard about Robert Spencer. Apparently he was going to speak to them but he “found out” that they were white supremacists essentially who think the Crusades were a great thing and pointing out the evils that happened in them is just “white liberal guilt.” I also remember seeing Tom Tancredo’s name listed as a speaker for my college’s chapter.

That was back when Spencer was afraid of losing some friends. Now that he’s lost those friends, he doesn’t give a shit about his reputation. Sadly, there seem to be enough like-minded racists to support him.
