Well, no. The government our Founders created still had slavery. There are clauses in original text of the Constitution about the extradition of escaped slaves. It took a war to fix that.
The government our Founders created didn’t allow women or minorities the vote. It didn’t allow for the direct election of Senators, or presidential term limits, or set clearly defined rules about Presidential succession. We had to fix those things over time.
Funny how that works.

EDIT: On top of that, this guy says he teaches elementary school kids. One can only imagine what his reaction to Sandy Hook was (“We need to arm the teachers AND the children!”)
