Wow, Bill Mckibbon is having an epic twitter meltdown over the fact that we collect intelligence around climate & trade negotiations. He imagines some grand conspiracy where the US wanted the Copenhagen talks to fail, and sabotaged them, when the opposite occurred — the US salvaged an accord out of the hopelessly stalled negotiations.

It’s amazing how successfully Greenwald-land has poisoned US politics with conspiratorial thinking, tearing apart natural allies, while cobbling together Frankenstein coalitions of near opposites, who agree on nothing beyond wanting to lash out at a shadowy boogeyman responsible for all ills.
