It’s pretty clear, to me anyway, that the reason we got into this problem over fighting over a single seat on the court is because we have failed to do the political action necessary to create laws and Amendments that are necessary.

We see that with the Equal Right’s Amendment, which should have passed.

We need to amend the Constitution in several areas.

If you say that is impossible, then what you’re saying is that our society can’t really come together and agree on a basic standard by which to govern ourselves.
