I have trouble understanding why anyone is at all threatened by someone’s gender or sexual preferences. I don’t care what genitalia you have or who you love. What matters is who you are, if you have integrity and if you have a kind heart. That should be the only thing that matters but humans are stupid and seem to need someone else to hate on.

Most of the people I know feel threatened/disgusted by the idea that one of “those people” might find them attractive, and say so. First of all, most people aren’t bold enough to go up to someone all like, “You’re really hot and I want to do sexual things to you,” and secondly, I’d actually find that quite complimentary. I may not be attracted to them or have a desire to have sex with them, but if any of the homosexual or bisexual men I know told me they were attracted to me, I’d be flattered.
