Thanks. Under 4 cm is best, but under 7 cm is still apparently considered on the small side. (Both sound enormous to me, but that’s what I’ve read.) On the kidney is better than in the kidney because it’s easier to remove. The big question is whether there has been any spread, or if it is just the one tumor.

he said it may not have mestasized because his lymph system is clear (not sure how they can test that). Docs are going to do a needle biopsy before going ahead with any surgery.
