You want someone like Nixon? Are you fucking insane?

I don’t mean to be rude, but your values are seriously warped and/or your understanding of recent history seriously lacking if you think Nixonian qualities should be praised in a candidate. The man wasn’t stupid but he was a dirty fraud going all the way back to his Checkers and HUAC days. Biggest scumbag by far we’ve had as president in the modern era.

The funny thing is that Nixon was politically well to the left of the present-day GOP (in addition to being a crook with a wide variety of personality flaws).
