Kirk Douglas: The Road Ahead

Here’s my take on the debate.

It’s ninety minutes long, and Drumpf will have three, fifteen minute opportunities to open his cake hole and speak on specific issues.

He must address these issues specifically and concisely, with policy points and backup information to justify his positions…

Hahahaha!

It’s just not going to happen. He cannot maintain discipline to engage on a single subject for fifteen minutes any more than he can fly to the moon by flapping his arms and levitating off the stage. He doesn’t have fifteen minutes of a cogent argument on any subject. He’ll get three minutes into the question and start to blather aimlessly and produce a huge amount of flop sweat.

At that point, he has two choices: cede his time, or attack.

Will he cede 9 minutes to Hillary? What do you think? If he doesn’t and Lester (registered Republican) calls him on his false statements after he gets off the three minutes of canned blather before he starts to ramble, how will he respond?

If he does, Lester will still call him out on his lies while he was blathering for three minutes. Which will take six minutes of justifying his lies. Lester could easily fill up Drumpf’s 15 minutes just calling out his bullshit. It’s not fact-checking, it’s just noting that his previous statements have, in fact, been identified as lies.

Then he’s got two more fifteen minute question segments. I don’t think it is going to go well for The Donald.

I think Hillary is going to stand at the podium looking like the cat who has full access to the cream and quietly tear him apart. Who knows, maybe she’ll even smile. I would. Drumpf is low-hanging political fruit when faced with a professional who has all of the practical knowledge and ovaries like grapefruits (to adapt an old military term relating to balls).
