On the one hand, I can see this as objectively a good thing - anything that supports PP is a good thing, IMO - but OTOH, I wonder if too much public support is just going to give the abortion-obsessives more ammo to support government funding cutoffs: i.e., if they can raise so much cash from donations/states/localities, why do they need “our” Federal tax dollars???

I thought about that. But, Maryland funding it’s PP clinics isn’t going to help those in Texas. While ultimately we have to get all of them funded, Maryland not funding its own isn’t going to make the rest of the country go “No, we should keep them open.” It will actually be a far better example to show a state like Maryland doing better than a state without them.

Edit: Part of what federalism is supposed to be is “Hey, that state is doing better than us. Maybe we should see why.”
